Virtus

In 185 AD, the once-great Ancient Roman Empire suffered under the oppressive rule of Commodus, its 17th Emperor. Commodus, who craved battle, had brought the empire to ruin. His concubine, Marcia, feared for the future of Rome and sought to resurrect the spirit of “Virtus,” the soul of departed Rome. To do so, she turned to the forbidden practice of manipulating time, calling forth a man from the future who held the key to Rome’s salvation.
