The Wife

Cheongrim, an ethnic Korean from China, works under his cousin Sikwon, a mid-level boss in a Shenyang crime syndicate. Tasked with dangerous jobs, he lives a precarious life.
One day, while collecting a gambling debt, he is offered a collateral—a woman named Kim Ok, a North Korean defector, bound and helpless in a warehouse. Taking her back to his hometown, Cheongrim finds himself slowly drawn to her, while Kim Ok, initially wary, begins to trust him.
As their love quietly grows, fate intervenes, threatening to tear them apart…
