Kara no Kioku

Rei wakes up each morning feeling anxious and insecure due to his recent move to Tokyo and starting high school. This uneasiness follows him into the classroom where he is suddenly struck with a strange dream and a painful sensation in his chest amidst the noise.
After waking up, Rei finds a little creature on his desk, but dismisses it as part of the dream. When he leaves school, he discovers numerous other bizarre creatures of different sizes that no one else seems to notice.
Desperate for answers and with the small creature still following him, Rei’s life takes an unexpected turn when he meets a towering, one-eyed figure dressed completely in black. The enigmatic being smiles at him and changes everything.
